Photographic Entries

What you must include

Photographic Entries

All photographs entered in the Contest must be original content that has not been utilized for another contest.

All photographic entries must be submitted electronically as .jpg or substantially similar files through an online portal on the webpage. The Contest Administrators may require a high-resolution file for any photograph selected as a winning entry.

A caption for the photo must be provided. Captions must be—at minimum—200 words, not exceeding 250 words. Captions must be written in either English or French. The Contest’s administrators reserve the right to translate French captions into English to ensure the entry is accessible to non-French speakers—and vis versa.

All entries are intended for the general public. Entrants are fully responsible for the photographs they submit. Contest Administrators will not accept photographic entries and captions that are offensive— and reserve the right to disqualify, in their sole discretion, any photographic entries that contain, for example, racist, hateful, sexist, homophobic or pornographic content.

Photographic entries must not have been published or accepted for publication by a national magazine or newspaper.
